Thomas Jefferson has just returned from France, hoping to relax with his daughters at Monticello. George Washington however, has a favor to ask of him. Hit by tough political opposition, specifically afraid of rising monarch strength, he urges Jefferson to become his Secretary of State. Jefferson accepts, albeit grudgingly. Not long after, he is battling his archrival, Alexander Hamilton, a Federalist just before his election in 1800.

This absorbing 1976 production of dramatist Sidney Kingsley's historical play centers on the formative days of the United States and the disputes between founding fathers Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton. Although the two men greatly respect each other, the deep-seated clash in their ideologies engenders conflict just as the fledgling country is beginning to take root.

This exhaustive chronicle includes interviews, game footage and salutes to such New England Patriots greats as John Hannah, Steve Grogan, Tom Brady, Gino Cappelletti, Bill Belichick, Andre Tippett and Randy Moss. A family who call themselves true patriots of Lithuania is preparing for a special celebration - their son's send-off to the volunteer army. The father is the happiest about his son's choice, as he divides people into only two groups: patriots and traitors to the state. But as the farewell approaches, the joy is replaced by increasing tension, until finally, hidden emotions erupt. Conflicts of values come to the surface, and the attempts of the household to prove their devotion to their homeland begin to teeter on the edge of the absurd. In the end, it turns out that the true patriots are not those who speak loudly of their love for their country.
